Best app/feature since sliced bread!
It has made my job and life so much easier!! Aside from virtually making data entry errors obsolete, I cannot even begin to count the savings in overhead for labor. We've been making a lot of changes and updates to our company overall and how we streamline things. Hours of programming hours and yet, I was most excited by this seemingly simple feature that was not even created internally.

Tons of Problems
When this app works it is great because it saves tons of time, except that most of the time this app doesn't work! I haven't been able to use it in over 2 weeks and multiple emails to support are ignored. It's a huge problem that they are charging a monthly fee for something that only works a portion of the time.

User friendly, huge time saver, pays for itself easily
I was able to import a large quantity of credit card transactions and a complex payroll journal entry for 40 employees with no problem. This integration tool is easier to use and as powerful as the Microsoft Dynamics GP tool I am accustomed to using. It's very easy to map the fields. Highly recommended!

Basic Functionality
This is not a 30 day trial. This is a 200 item import trial. We have 10s of thousands of items and wanted to fully test this across our accounts but it quit on 200 items. If ide known ide have taken smaller samples from each account. Besides being expensive for a basic flat file importer which should be in QBOnlines basic functionality as it is in other QB versions. Its priced as a SaaS service but it really is one of those things where you do bulk imports every so often, not what you want to be paying a monthly service fee for.

As a new user to QuickBooks Online and essentially only needing QBO as a mechanism to import large journal entries from a separate back office program (journal entries created in .iif format) and payroll processor, I didn't want to spend a huge amount of time learning QBO as what I really needed was an simple way to import files into QBO. Initially support was provided via email, with a response time between 15 and 45 minutes. When I hit what seemed to me to be a brick wall, tech support at Bay State offered an online/telephone support session which did the trick. The program imports large files brilliantly, import time does vary depending on the servers, but usually no more than 5-6 minutes. KUDOS to Bay State support for patiently helping me through the learning process.

As an Advanced ProAdvisor, I've had great experience with Bay State's import programs for desktop editions of QuickBooks, so as a QuickBooks Online expert, I was eager to try this app out.
I was not disappointed. I was able to download my client data into excel, format according to the templates provided, and get 6 months of checking information (checks and deposits posted via journal entry) in roughly an hour. This is something that would have taken 4-6 hours if I had to do it manually.
Whether it's historical data or a regular import from a third party program, look no further than TPI for importing.
I would love to see it support location tracking (a QBO only feature) and possibly bill payments, but for now I'm 100% pleased with the results from using this product - and so is my client!

This is an outstanding product.
New Clients to our firm typically require entries from a year or more of banking statements. Using this product, we are able to enter the data effeciently and accurately in Excel and then import into the QBO company. Works like a charm and saves hours of tedious, error-prone data-entry.
I was especially impressed when, as I was matched a field in the Excel sheet to anQBO field, TPI updated the data in real-time to allow complete review how the data would appear after import.

Transaction mapping of fields was very difficult. Worked on it for hours with 20 different attempts to import and no success. Product is difficult to navigate with three screens embedded within the primary screen. Mapping of fields was not obvious. Switching back and forth between chart of accounts in QBO and importer was very clunky.

- How many transactions or lists can be imported per file?
- Currently we support up to 1000 lines per import file. This means you can import up to 1000 transactions, depending on the number of lines per transaction.
- Can an import be reversed or undone?
- No but you can manually delete the transactions or lists imported into QuickBooks Online manually by editing the transaction and clicking the delete button.
