View and Edit Customer Details
Edit customer and prospect details. Customer changes get automatically synchronized with QuickBooks. You can also define multiple contacts for both customers and prospects.
Import Customers and Prospects
The import feature allows you to import customer and prospect lists from comma-separated (CSV) files. You can even import to your ActiveContact custom fields.
Document Management
ActiveContact enables you to upload and view documents associated with customers and prospects. Now you can store your proposals in a common location accessible to all of your staff.
Powerful Query Builder
The query builder enables you to generate customized lists based on search criteria. The results of a query can then be exported to a CSV file or printed.
Flexible User Defined Fields
User defined fields enable you to keep track of data elements unique to your business. All user defined fields can also be used in queries and for CSV imports.
View Customer Transaction Data
Have all accounts receivable transactions for a given customer at your disposal with search and filter capabilities.

For a Spread Out Work Force...
This cannot be beat for the price. We have users on PC & Mac, in the US and Australia, in multiple time zones and this is an effective way to coordinate action across platforms and time and distance. Ryan has been really good resolving problems when necessary and has added a few features. As long as we're on QuickBooks, we're hooked.

I would buy this app if it were less expensive, and available for a one time fee. When combined with the monthly QB fee, it's too much for what little amount this app seems to do. QB should provide something like this in their system, we shouldn't have to pay for this basic feature (allowing multiple contacts, basically).

ActiveContact seems to handle everything I was looking for a straightforward way. The flash environment may not be ideal but I've had no usability issues so far. The ability to access this app from any browser (Mac or PC) is a plus.

This was the exact kind of program we needed for our company to help manage our contact database and keep up with quickbooks. Sadly enough the customer service is awful, running in flash is a major downfall and frankly it just doesn't seem to work at all. Contacts do not add until up to 5 minutes later, data must be refreshed every minute or so to keep the program running as well. I still have yet to get a response from this company after emailing and calling multiple times. I really wish this could have been a better service as a whole because it would have been perfect.

This app needs to run without Flash. HTML5 would be better so it can be ran on the IPad and IPhone, Thats all our salesforce uses. Get this function and it would be worth purchasing.

Great way to keep track of customers and contact notes. My only complaint is that the program does not allow you to create invoices or sales receipts. That would be a great feature! and with that i would definitely give it 5 stars.
