Might just change the way business is managed. Moving from 'just accounting' to real finance for real people.

This app has incredible potential. As the owner of an accounting firm, we are in need of a way to create automated reports that our clients can view any time, any where to gauge the performance of their organization in a user-friendly way.
The good:
* This app has a subscription option designed specifically for accountants and consultants who want to manage multiple client companies.
* Allows benchmarking so that you can see how your company performs against similar companies. Great feature!
* Excellent metrics presented in a useful, user-friendly way.
* Support for multiple software packages, including Peachtree, QB, and even Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains).
Missing:
* I don't see any support for viewing data by customer/job or by class or by cost center (depending on your software). This renders this product useless for us since all of our clients need to be able to view metrics based on these categories.
* The lines of business they provide may or may not be relevant to your company, and there is no way to change these categories.
* Income and expenses are allocated to the lines of business based on percentages instead of based on actual usage. So if your staff's actual time spent on each line of business based on their time sheets does not conform to these percentages every single month, the information in Corelytics will not be accurate. Same for every other expense and income category.
* There doesn't appear to be much flexibility in the income/expense categories you can use, so if you have special categories of expense - which many of our clients do - there is no way that I can see to add these or change the existing categories.
Looks like they are trying to strike a balance between standardizing the information across all clients so that they can provide benchmarking info and providing flexibility so that it is relevant to your company. Right now it runs a bit too far towards standardization to be useful for us. If this changes, then we would be very interested in this product.

We use Corelytics as a central part of our financial reporting. As an owner of a small business, I need more than the tactical day to day information that quickbooks gives me easily - I need better actionable information so I can drive business growth. Corelytics gives me that.

As far as understanding the workings of your business via your QuickBooks financial information, Corelytics picks up where QB leaves off. The last thing a business owner wants is to need the skills of an accountant to know what's happening in their business.
Corelytics give you every snapshot you need in numbers and graphics to make good business decisions and see the true health of the company without being a financial wizard. Additionally, you can't beat the industry benchmarking the app provides that no other benchmarking tool that I know of has to offer.

The support team they have is great and its easy to use. I'm a non-financial person and running a business it critical to understand the financials of your company. It takes all the information in QuickBooks and makes it easy to understand. I especially like the goals section. Great work Corelytics!

We have 11 employees and didn't have a process for reviewing our financial performance. We were kind of in the dark about where we stood financially. QuickBooks didn't really give us that executive dashboard we were looking for to spot trends. The time savings is huge!

I was trying to make some decisions about bringing on new staff and where to cut costs and Corelytics helped me understand my trends in an easy to read format. I'm able to see my line of business performance and feel more confident about where our business is going now. Thanks guys!
