This Expense App Performs as Advertised!
I am a QuickBooks Advanced Certified ProAdvisor and a member of the Intuit Trainer Writer Network. This is the third App that I have reviewed that deals with Expense Reimbursement, and it is the first that I have been able to recommend.
Things that I liked: 1) the set-up was straightforward and easy to follow and took less time than other Apps that I have reviewed, 2) the pop-up help screen was a big advantage in knowing how to set-up the program, 3) the mobile iPhone App worked very well and has multiple icons for the various expense types that would normally be submitted and the ability to take a photo of receipts worked great, 4) the download from a credit card account was very easy to sync, 5) the approval process, as well as the approver rejecting a report, worked seamlessly, and 6) the expenses easily exported to QuickBooks to create reimbursement checks.
A few items to watch for: 1) the exporting to QuickBooks is not easily viewed when first used - you need to choose a drop down box when the report is approved - but once you've done it the first time it is not a problem, 2) when exporting to QuickBooks on a report that has multiple items and expense categories you need to choose the multiple line option - I would recommend not even having the single line line option, and 3) I didn't see where you could use items, rather than expenses, on expenses that are billed to clients/customers.

Love this product!
We have used other expense systems but Expense Cloud is the easiest and most economical. It suits our needs perfectly! I love how intuitive it is so even "non-tech" people can figure it out. Also, when we had questions, the response from support was quick and accurate! I highly recommend this product over any others.

I have been using ExpenseCloud for six months and the productivity is fantastic. The ability to manage expenses and receipts from my computer or iPhone is essential. I am now submitting my expense reports directly into Quickbooks online and the time savings is outstanding.

We recently purchased Expense Cloud and I could not be happier. The application is user friendly, easy to use and intutiive. In addition to that if you ever have a probelm, issue or question, the team at Expense Cloud responds almost immediatley.

We are a very ?fine-tuned? company and do a lot of work for a small amount of employees. Things like expense reports are time consuming and frustrating for the employees here and Expense Cloud has been the perfect solution for this! It is easy to use, speeds up the entire report process and gets everybody on with life. From the accounting perspective, it has really benefited us as well. The fact that it imports the expenses into QuickBooks eliminates so many steps in our processes. And because it imports the transactions right from our company credit card, there are no entry errors, missed expenses, etc. The employees also love the BlackBerry/Android/iPhone apps. The customer support team at Expense Cloud has been great as we have been setting up our employees over the past few months. They answer questions quickly and are even extremely open to feedback for future updates. We are very happy to have stumbled upon this and would recommend it to anyone!

As a small business owner I prefer to take care of my customers, not manage my bookkeeping, unfortunately someone has to deal with it. In addition, my entire team procrastinates on doing their expense reports for similar reasons. We love our work, but hate the minutia.
We trialed Expense Cloud this past quarter and decided that this is the solution for us. Like others have said, we have seen an immediate ROI, and compliance has increase remarkably, including my own.
The part I really like is my impression of the company. I have had to ask for tech support a couple of times, once on the weekend. Not only have they been amazingly responsive, but also they treated me as if we try to treat our customers.
We are rolling this out to everyone this quarter.

Most of the guys on the v6 team work mobile and always have done and likely always will. We work in various places in the world on small, medium, large and MASSIVE projects and are kitted out to perform even when mobile.
Naturally being mobile means you gather a lot of, and have to process a lot of receipts; mileage claims and file for claims, reporting and audit trails.
Enter ExpenseCloud; an app for your browser, your iPhone, you Blackberry; or more recently your Android phone. And what an app it is. Dead easy to use and quick too; ad exactly what any mobile professional needs; after all expense claiming is not a billable activity!!

We chose ExpenseCloud and are really getting comfortable with their capabilities. Not only do they manage the corporate credit card expenses items (permission based) but they integrate with Tripit -which feeds our trip details and creates a natural grouping of expenses based on dates and event. They also integrate with QuickBooks allowing us to assign specific client account names/fields and quickly pushing my expense statements back to QuickBooks (including receipt images) for payments. This application, much like CapsuleCRM, had an immediate ROI for us. There is nothing I procrastinate more about than filing and submitting my expense reports. In the past, the time to scan the receipt, organize them, separate them and file, created a real drain on my time and energy. The features ExpenseCloud offers with email receipt submission, photo capture from your phone, and inserting cash expense line items via text or email? not to mention the intuitive nature of associating receipts with the expense item. It's a tool I can no longer live without!
