Great Brand. Horrible and Worthless Product.

A bit of a learning curve, but working well now.
It took a while to figure out how to use the system, get users into the system, setup a policy, and eventually get reports submitted and approved...but now we've got it submitting reports to QuickBooks Online as bills, which was the goal. Hopefully over time things will become more intuitive, but for now it's doing what it's supposed to albeit with some learning along the way.

High hopes have been dashed
There is such a real need for expense software but this doesn't work well. It is so difficult to try to sync with QB and our Chart of Accounts. Then after all of that we find that we can't import the date of the expense only the date it was uploaded. So if you have created an expense report with 20 items, each item will show the date of the upload rather than the date of purchase/usage. They suggest you upload each one idividually to get the correct date. However that won't work if you indeed have a large report to file.

Fantasctic toll!
It was a bit confusing to setup the first time, but after that it's great! Just exported to QuickBooks my first report! YEA! Saves me a TON of time and guesswork where to put some expenses!

Great small business tool!
The simplicity with this cloud-based expense reporting application along with the integration to Quickbooks on-line is a great tool for any start-up! Makes the accounting and operations role much easier!

No more Manual Spread sheets
I used to use Excel spread sheet for all the Credit cards, to categorize the expenses. Expensify has eliminated Manual spread sheet. Also has eliminated the cut & paste. BEst part is the E- receipts. I do not know wether, once the report is done, IF I can dowload the report as Excel format or not?

I've been using Quickbooks Online for over 2 years now and had been managing expense reports offline via Excel spreadsheets. I recently implemented Expensify and find it to be very easy to use and very much a time saver. With the integrated nature of expense accounts and tags, tracking my actual expenses to the specific G/L account has become VASTLY easier.
I would strongly recommend Expensify to any small business who needs a solution that is seamlessly integrated to Quickbooks Online.
