Electronically file 1099-MISC forms in minutes!
The Intuit 1099 E-File Service makes it EASY for small businesses to file 1099-MISC in minutes.
If you use desktop QuickBooks 2011 and newer, the Intuit 1099 E-File Service will import data from your desktop QuickBooks file and save you time from entering your data online – simply access the service from the Vendor menu in QuickBooks. Intuit Online Payroll users should click Taxes and Forms, and then 1099s. If you do not have desktop QuickBooks or any other Intuit software, you can fill out a simple online form to prepare your 1099-MISCs and e-file with the IRS. Users of versions older than desktop QuickBooks 2011 and QuickBooks Online users can access the service from the online form, but will have to enter vendor data directly.
Print copies for your vendors and for your own records on plain, blank paper. The Intuit 1099 E-File Service does not support printing on pre-printed or perforated forms at this time.
Once you have verified your company and vendor information on Form 1099-MISC, a click of a button will file it electronically with the IRS. And for 32 states, the IRS shares your e-filed information with the state agency, simplifying your state filings. You must still check with your state on any additional filing or tax payment requirements. The service supports only boxes 1-14 on the 1099-MISC form. Electronic filing applies to the IRS only -- recipient copies must still be printed and mailed.
Dedicated, online chat and phone support available Monday through Friday from 6am - 6:30 pm PT during filing season (January through April).
Support is included in the one-time service fee.
Just a one-time $25 fee (not monthly) per company when you print and e-file unlimited 1099 MISC forms on or before January 18, 2013. Pay only a one-time $39 fee (not monthly) per company when you print and e-file unlimited 1099 MISC forms on or after January 19, 2013.
