Step 2 - Choose the Suppliers and Initiate Purchases Orders

MISys Easy Purchasing displays the items and quantities you need to purchase by calculating what you need to satisfy the sales orders and then netting out the sum of the quantities you have in inventory and on order with vendors. This is where you select the vendors you want to use and estimate the lead time on the items you are ordering. Click “Preview Purchase Orders” to get one step closer to ordering what you need.

Step 3 - Review Purchase Orders to be issued.

The Purchase Order Preview displays the purchase orders that will be generated based on your selection from the previous screen. It provides you with an opportunity to edit the selection before creating purchase orders. If you agree with the suggested purchase orders, click “Create Purchase Orders”.

Step 4 - Review the Confirmation of Purchase Orders Issued

The confirmation page lists the Purchase Orders that were generated in QuickBooks as well as the items that were NOT ordered based on your previous selection. You can always go back and generate purchase orders for those items at a later time.
