QuickBooks expert loves ProOnGo!
I own a QuickBooks services firm, and can't say enough about this app. I've been consistently in touch with the makers of ProOnGo Expense for probably about two years now, and I've seen the progression of the app, and the sophistication of the questions/issues that they are tackling. No matter your concerns with expense reporting apps and how they interact with QuickBooks, ProOnGo covers each and every one, or is well on the way to doing so. The makers of this app are not simply concerned with being compatible, they are serious about getting to the bottom of each and every issue that has potential to show up. I look forward to seeing what's next with ProOnGo... I'm sure it won't be long before the next update!

Easy to use with tons of great features
I don't have a lot of reimbursable expenses, so I like to just let someone else take care of it for me, so that I can focus on growing my business. There aren't enough hours in the day for everything, and expense reporting was just one of those things that I'd rather not spend time on. ProOnGo showed me how I could use their "email in" receipts feature where I take pictures of my receipts with my phone, send them via email, and thus keep track of the receipts, amounts, and dates.
Super easy, and meets my need of not wanting to spend any time on expense reporting.

Time tracking application
ProOnGo are experts when it comes to getting our time activity into QuickBooks. We have 1000s of time activities every month, over 50 employees, and a complex set of Customer:Job and Items (including sub-items) that our team uses to fill out their time sheets every week in the ProOnGo web app. It's a lot of data, and it's crucial that it be correct when it lands in QuickBooks. We can make sure every employee has entered time, approve it and then synch it to QuickBooks all behind the scenes and then run reports on job activity, etc. Whenever we have questions, ProOnGo support is prompt, responsive and knowledgeable. We switched to them when Intuit discontinued their time tracking application late in 2011 and the transition has been as painless as possible.

Great idea. Easy to use
ProOnGo came around and saved our company's money and time in searching for a time tracker service. Though we've had a few problems, their staff has always been friendly and ready to help fix any problems within a reasonable amount of time. We've never had a problem with them that has remained un-fixed. Their staff is very attentative and friendly when we need them to be.

Why wasn't this invented 5 years ago?
ProOnGo Expense fills a basic need that all businesses have; expenditure tracking, and ensuring that the expenses end up in the books the right way.
ProOnGo does all this very well and *** literally saves me over 8 hours a week*** - it's a full day of work.The companies I do bookkeeping for download ProOnGo to their iPhones, and track their spending. Then I log on and approve expenditures and send them to QuickBooks.

After having used this app, I can't believe that I ever spent so much time entering in expenses myself. This saves me time, which makes me and my boss both happy

Truly exceptional app. I'm in the process of rolling it out company wide for expense management. I have been working with the app maker to customize the app and reporting. They have been great. Have had our custom expense templates added and a new sales tax field is in the works.
This is an incredible time saver and well worth the price.

This app is truly amazing. I've been testing it on a box of old receipts now and it manages to do the job. Manual corrections are hardly needed.
I even use it as a home expense tracking. Finally the app to keep track of tax needed receipts.

- How do I sync my QuickBooks accounts, clients, payment methods and employees with ProOnGo?
- As soon as you complete the QuickBooks connection wizard, your Chart of Accounts, Bank Accounts, Employee list, Payment Methods and Customer:Jobs will sync update to ProOnGo Expense.
As soon as you login to ProOnGo Expense from the mobile app or from ProOnGo.com with your email address, you'll be able to begin labeling your expenses with your expense accounts, payment methods, Customer:Jobs and whether or not the expense is Billable.
- How do I add employees?
- The QuickBooks connection wizard's second to last step will be to add employees to your account. To create accounts for your employees, just select the employees from those listed in your Employee Center with a valid email address, and their accounts will automatically register with ProOnGo.
Your employees can then login with their email addresses inside the ProOnGo Expense mobile app, or the ProOnGo Web Portal at ProOnGo.com.
Passwords are whatever is initially entered in the password field.
- How do my employees track their expenses?
- Your employees can track their expenses by logging in with their email address at ProOnGo.com or they can download the ProOnGo Expense mobile application for iPhone, iPad, Android and BlackBerry devices.
- How do my expenses get into QuickBooks?
- As soon as you Approve you and your employees expenses, you are then given the option to sync your expenses with QuickBooks either as a Vendor Bill or Write As Check reimbursement method.
