GREAT application and syncs directly with QuickBooks
One of the best features about this app is that it syncs directly with QB. No manual importing of the completed expense data back to QB.
The staff (and founder) of ProOnGo have been EXTREMELY helpful in getting our account set up just the way we want it. They have even offered some QB best practices that have helped us just with QB itself.
I look forward to writing a review in the near term that is 5 stars all around. I am confident we will be able to get this running on our account exactly like we want with the help of the staff at ProOnGo!!!!

Completely impossible to use
I downloaded this app to do the following:
-Track the time and expenses of contractors that work for me
-Take photos of receipts and pair them with expenses
-Integrate that data seamlessly with quickbooks
I figured this would be a pretty simple set of constraints. I don't run a Fortune500 company, I run a small business. After signing up for the trial and running through a quick start tutorial, you are greeted by a set of completely blank spreadsheets. There is no example data, there are no introductions, there is no walk through. Absolutely nothing. I went into all the tabs to try to figure out what I was supposed to do in order to do...well...*anything*. If you go this route, you are greeted with menu items like "append reimbursements to existing unprinted checks" and "auto-issue check for auto approvals?" Are these items explained anywhere on the site? No. Pretty much that's the same story for every single menu item you'll find on this app.
I downloaded the android app to see if that would make my life any easier. Its more complicated than the web app, with all the exact same problems.
In my opinion, it is simpler for you to collect receipts from your employees and dig through shoeboxes than spending the time needed to understand how to use this app.

Great application!
I rolled this out to our team with little to no guidance. It's very intuitive and they all figured it out with no issues. I love the ability to administer on the back end and sync with QuickBooks. Tech support is very responsive to my questions and suggestions for improvement.

Time Saver
Proongo has made life so much easier for our traveling sales people. It has saved them considerable time in completing expense reports with the ability to scan receipts and code them immediately. From the accounting end of things, there were a few issues synicing with Quickbooks up front and determining how the app worked. However, Max at Proongo has been very responsive throughout the process and quickly responds to all emails. I would recommend this app.

A must-have tool for any business!
ProOnGo has really been a lifesaver for my company. My team and I travel quite a bit and often find ourselves buried in receipts and mileage logs. ProOnGo saves us time and money by making the management of our expenses simple and easy. Best of all, it also handles our time tracking, which helps us measure our internal efficiency. Without their system, we'd have to buy and maintain 3 separate solutions.
The fast and dependable sync with QuickBooks helps us stay on top of things without having to spend a ton of cash with our accountant. They handle our team's out-of-pocket expenses as well as those run on our company card.
I highly recommend the solution to all of my peers and clients!

Wish I Could Report a Problem Free App, But I can't
We have been using this app for three months now, and they have been making lots of changes and updates to it which, when they work, they will be great. However, these updates often cause syncing issues with QB. When this app is having a good day, it works great, I can track billable hours and my employees expenses and sync them into QB no problem. There are some functionality features missing that I need for my company, including the option to class an expense as "prepaid" or "not reimbursable" because some of my expenses are those that my employees log so I can track inventory and bill my customers, but the employee did not spend money on the item, so they do not need to be paid back.
More often than not, I am contacting support to help me with an issue. This is a BIG issue for us because ProOnGo does NOT have an over the phone support. You must send them an email, and then you get an auto-response email with a list of FAQ's you're supposed to review, and when those don't solve your problem, you have to reply to the email and the "promise a real person will contact you." Well, sometimes they contact you that day, sometimes like right now, I wait three days to get a response from the support team. Additionally, when the support team does respond, they never ever understand my issue, and always ask for clarification. This time I literally copy and pasted the error message into the email and sent it over, and then he sent me a response talking about completely unrelated items. When I try to retype out the email to correct the misunderstanding I am beginning to get frustrated because I know if I could just talk to someone over the phone, this would be so much easier. But, they refuse to call, and the phone number you try sends you to a non-working touch tone menu to nowhere.
I'm very disappointed that I pay monthly for an app that works less than half of the time, and to which I can never seem to get satisfactory support. For four days now I have been unable to sync to QB, and unable to communicate my issue effectively to get the problem resolved. Everytime I ask them, they say they have never seen a problem like the ones I am having, so perhaps that's the case, but I think not.

QuickBooks expert loves ProOnGo!
I own a QuickBooks services firm, and can't say enough about this app. I've been consistently in touch with the makers of ProOnGo Expense for probably about two years now, and I've seen the progression of the app, and the sophistication of the questions/issues that they are tackling. No matter your concerns with expense reporting apps and how they interact with QuickBooks, ProOnGo covers each and every one, or is well on the way to doing so. The makers of this app are not simply concerned with being compatible, they are serious about getting to the bottom of each and every issue that has potential to show up. I look forward to seeing what's next with ProOnGo... I'm sure it won't be long before the next update!
